Dr. Hania Flaten

Dr. Hania Flaten is a board-certified dermatologist who pairs deep clinical training with a warm, personal approach to care.

Born and raised in Colorado, Dr. Flaten earned her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College in Maine before returning home for medical school at the University of Colorado. She graduated at the top of her class and served as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Colorado, caring for varied patient populations at Denver Health Medical Center, the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Children's Hospital Colorado, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Her background spans conventional and integrative dermatology. She draws on current research and evidence-informed holistic methods to shape care around the individual patient. She treats patients of all ages and skin types, from common concerns to complex skin disease.

Outside the clinic, she is a whitewater kayaker, mountain biker, and parent to two young boys.
